Customize your own soldering iron using interchangeable handles, heaters and tips. Select components best suited for your application. Handles have cool, cork-like comfort grips and are available in three models: 2-wire red, 2-wire blue, and 3-wire blue which is completely grounded from tip to plug, eliminating electrostatic tip charges. Heaters are available from 700 degrees F to 1100 degrees F, complimented by a complete line of soldering tips. This particular modular heater is 45 watts and heats up to 900 degrees. Used with standard series modular irons: SL325, SL335, SL345, and SL500. Also used with standard series handles: 7400, 7500, 7760, and 7770.
