Introducing the HAKKO FX-973, a powerful next step from the FX-971 and FX-972 that redefines flexibility and performance in rework technology. Designed as a direct replacement for the FM-206, the FX-973 features a self-contained vacuum system for high-performance desoldering and boosts available power to allow two handpieces to operate simultaneously at full output. Now supporting the robust FR-4103 and FR-4104 desoldering handpieces, the FX-973 doubles the desoldering power compared to previous models and incorporates advanced anti-clogging technology, delay timing for efficient solder removal, and a built-in clogging indicator—features borrowed from the renowned HAKKO FR-410.
With three simultaneously powered channels, compatibility with 10 different handpieces, and an easy-to-read backlit graphic display, the FX-973 delivers unmatched control and versatility. Additional features include USB-C connectivity for integration with HAKKO Control Software, infrared auto-offset support, multi-level process control, up to five programmable presets per channel, and wireless sleep mode. The New Hakko Control Software allows the operator to store and load multiple parameter settings for tighter process control and set profiles, parameters, and tip temperature. With the new Hakko Control Software, the operator can also record tip temperature data, record tip offset measurements, and read a real time temperature graph data from a PC.
