Tip cleaning sponge with center hole. For use with most Hakko soldering and desoldering stations. Tip cleaning sponges are used to wipe the excess solder from the tip, exposing the tip point definition and offering the operator a well defined tip with which to solder. Wiping over a pre-moistened sponge also removes surface oxides from the tip, extending its useful life. Size: 2-5/8 x 2-5/8″, thickness: 5/8″.
