This single workstation continuous monitor watches the path-to-ground integrity of one operator and one ESD worksurface. Wave Distortion Technology keeps that monitoring continuous rather than pulsed or intermittent, confirms the wrist strap’s 1 megohm safety resistor is present, and flags failures and intermittencies in under 50 milliseconds. Operator test voltage is 1.2 volts, which lowers the risk of electrical overstress on sensitive components. The Park Delay Timer and ParkSnap give you an 8 second window to disconnect and park a wrist cord without tripping a false alarm, and the mat monitor switch shuts off the worksurface circuit at benches that don’t have an ESD worksurface. Audible alarm volume adjusts from loud to louder. The single-wire impedance design meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 in accordance with ESD TR1.0-01-0, the unit connects to the 19332 Light Tower accessory, and you can verify its test limits with the Desco 98221 tester without pulling it off the bench. Each one ships NIST calibrated with a downloadable certificate and a 100-240VAC NRTL listed adapter, and it’s made and stocked in Chino, California.
