In January 2015, Desco Industries, Inc., based in Chino, California, acquired 3M’s Static Control business, forming the SCS brand and becoming North America’s largest static control product manufacturer. Building on 3M’s innovations like the Metal-Out Static Shielding bag and workstation continuous monitors, SCS oversees the entire supply chain, offering shielding and barrier bags.
